CAVE! CAVE! DEUS VIDET.

AN ART-FI VISUAL NOVEL SERIES INSPIRED BY THE WORKS OF JHERONIMUS BOSCH

Prototyped in 2013 for Bosch Art Game international competition, "CAVE! CAVE! DEUS VIDET." (Latin for "Beware! Beware! God is watching") is an ongoing award-winning interactive storytelling project about the 16th century Dutch painter Jheronimus Bosch.

Strange things happen in Lisbon National Museum when 17-year-old punk rocker and Jedi-wannabe Hoodie meets a weird man who seems to know too much about one of Bosch's most enigmatic paintings, the "Triptych of the Temptation of Saint Anthony". "CAVE! CAVE! DEUS VIDET. Episode 0" is a trip through what may either be the hallucinated Wonderland of Bosch, the plagued Netherlands of Year 1499 or the confused mind of a misfit teenager. The mystery unfolds in "Episode 1", where the destinies of Hoodie and three women intertwine in Madrid with the greatest masterpieces by the artist of "The Garden of Earthly Delights".

Music by Craig Storm (Monroeville Music Center) and MEGA. Spanish translation by Gonzalo Salinas, Android development by Francesco Fontana.
